A see-through hunting blind uses a one-way mesh wall that lets you watch game through the fabric while staying hidden, so you no longer have to peek out of small windows. In TideWe's lineup the differences come down to three things: how much of the wall is see-through (270° on the VisX, VisMax, VisST and VisMaster; 360° on the Vis360, VisFive360, OptiVue and OptiGuard), the fabric weight (150D or 300D), and capacity (1-2, 2-3, 3-4 or 4-6 person). Prices run from $79.99 for a 1-2 person 150D 270° blind on sale to $339.99 for the OptiVue 360° 3-4 person.
What 'see-through' actually means
Traditional pop-up blinds are opaque walls with window cut-outs. See-through blinds replace a large part of the wall with a fine mesh printed in camo on the outside and left dark on the inside. Because the interior is darker than the outside, you can see out but animals cannot see in, the same principle as a screen door at dusk. The practical benefit is that you can track a deer or turkey moving around the blind without shifting in your seat, and you do not have to open windows and risk movement or noise at the critical moment.
Shooting through the mesh is a separate feature. TideWe sells a dedicated Shoot Through mesh blind ($119.99, 2-3 person, 150D); the Vis-series blinds are designed for seeing through and shooting through opened window panels.

270° vs 360°: how much wall is mesh
A 270° blind has three full see-through panels and one solid back wall, which is usually where the door goes. A 360° blind is see-through on every side. The 270° layout is cheaper, and the solid back wall gives you a darker interior and a place to lean gear. The 360° layout is for hunters who set up in open country or on a field edge where game can approach from behind.

150D vs 300D fabric
The D stands for denier, a measure of the thread weight in the blind's fabric. 150D is lighter, cheaper and packs smaller; 300D is roughly twice the thread weight, which means a heavier, more tear-resistant and more opaque wall that also blocks wind better. For a blind you carry in and out of public land every weekend, 150D is fine and saves weight. For a blind that lives on a food plot for the season, or for hunting in cold wind, 300D is the better buy. Expect to pay about $20-$25 more for 300D in the same model.

Can deer see into a see-through blind?
Not in normal daylight conditions. The mesh is camo-printed outside and dark inside, so the interior reads as a black wall from the outside. Keep the interior dark and avoid backlighting yourself with an open door.
Can you shoot through the mesh on a TideWe see-through blind?
TideWe sells a separate Shoot Through mesh blind for that. The Vis-series blinds are built for seeing through the mesh and shooting through opened windows.
Is 300D worth it over 150D?
If the blind stays out for the season or you hunt in wind, yes. For a blind you pack in and out, 150D saves weight and roughly $20-$25.
